We've gone to Palate a few times over the last few years, and generally always enjoy the food. The main seating area towards the back gets really loud, however, so if you want to avoid that ask to be sit in the smaller area towards the front of the restaurant. If I was rating only as a bar to sit and have a drink, it would be five stars, as the craft beer and booze selection is top notch.

Coming to Milford for travel and the Palate was recomended by family.Did not disappoint! Every dish was fantastic with the calamari being presented with a sauce over straightened pieces if calamari not the typical rings of calamari;. It was really good. The blackened salmon was very tasty and not dry at all. The Perch is quite a large portion and again was fried perfectly without oil saturation. The Beer Cheese Bread rolls were seriously a standout. Bread rolls are seldom memory makers, but they were without a doubt. Great restaurant!

This is a nice restaurant I visited a couple weeks ago. They have a very nice and subtle style that sticks out from many other restaurants. I also enjoy the live band that was playing as well.
